Adult and paediatric metered-dose sprays and drops 10ml.
Active Ingredients: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.05% and 0.1%.
Approved Indications: Relief of nasal congestion.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Patients with trans-sphenoidal hypophysectomy or surgery exposing the dura mater, MAOI use or within 2 weeks of stopping MAOI.
Precautions: For external use only. Patients showing a strong reaction to adrenergic substances, prolonged use greater than five days, pregnancy and lactation, patients with hypertension, cardiovascular disease, thyroid disease.
Adverse Effects Burning sensation in nose and throat, local irritation or dryness of nasal mucosa, nausea, headache.
Directions: Adults: 1 spray or 2-3 drops in each nostril two to three times daily; children 6-12 years: 1-2 paediatric sprays or drops in each nostril; children 2-6 years: 1 paediatric spray or 1 drop in each nostril. Use two to three times daily.
